If you're like me, one of the fascinating things about being in the outdoors is the birds. I wouldn't say I'm an avid birder, but when I'm in the woods, I never cease to be intrigued by raptors, woodpeckers and all kinds of birds, large and small. I may be hunting elk, deer or turkey. I may just be out for an overnighter with family or the young men I help mentor through my church. But when I hear an unusual call (Like that of a Caspian Tern) or see unique colors, I want to know what I'm looking at.
